⁵⁴ He came to his hometown, and he began to teach the people in the synagogue. They were astonished and wondered, “Where did this man get such wisdom and these mighty deeds? ⁵⁵ Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? Are not James and Joseph and Simon and Judas his brethren? ⁵⁶ And are not all his sisters here with us? Where then did this man get all this?”
